Kilpatrick advised Komatsu Forest AB in connection with Komatsu Forest AB’s acquisition of Malwa Forest AB. Malwa Forest is a Swedish manufacturer of forestry equipment in the small-scale forestry machinery segment and develops and manufactures small harvesters and forwarders specifically designed for selective thinning and sensitive terrain. Komatsu Forest is a leading global manufacturer of forest machines and part of Komatsu Ltd, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The acquisition forms part of Komatsu Forest’s ambition to strengthen its offering in sustainable solutions for modern forestry and to meet the growing demand for machinery with low ground impact. Closing is, subject to customary conditions, planned for early April 2026.
